Our Notion integration allows Aptible AI to learn from any documentation, runbooks, or postmortems you have written in your Notion workspace.

Prerequisites

To configure the Notion integration you will need to be an administrator of your Notion workspace so that you can create an internal integration.

Creating a Notion Integration

Go to Notion’s Integrations page and click on “New integration”. Create a new internal integration for Aptible AI:

After saving your new integration, click on “Configure integration settings”:

Your Aptible AI integration only needs “Read content” permission, without user information:

Finally, copy the “Internal Integration Secret” from the top of the page—you will need this to connect Aptible AI to your Notion workspace later.

Giving Aptible AI Access to Your Documents

Even though an in integration was created, by default Aptible AI will not have access to any of your documents. You will need to give it permission to access specific documents by going to the root page of any set of pages you want to give Aptible AI access to, and then clicking on the three dots in the top right of the page and selecting “Connect to”. Then selecting your Aptible AI integration:

Integrating with Notion

In the Aptible AI dashboard, click on “Settings” and then under “Connect Documentation Integration”, click on “Notion”.

Enter a name for this integration (like “My Notion Account”), and then enter the Internal Integration Token from your Notion integration.
