Integrating data sources to Aptible AI is how it learns about your resources’ patterns. We group data sources into two buckets: documentation integrations and tools integrations.

Types of Data Sources

Documentation Integrations

Documentation integrations are used to learn from your internal documentation how your company operates and resolves incidents. Examples of documents you might want to integrate with runbooks and postmortems of previous incidents.

Tool Integrations

Tool integrations are used to help you debug and resolve incidents. You might ask Aptible AI for the health status of one of your servers or to retrieve logs and metrics for a given service.

Custom Tools

Organizations often create internal tools that would be useful in debugging or resolving incidents. Aptible AI can use these tools through our custom tools integration, which allows you to expose REST endpoints that Aptible AI can call to provide data or take action within your infrastructure.
